Dreaming of Love by Melissa Foster
Series: Love in Bloom #19: The Bradens #11
Release Date: 20th January 2015
Publisher: World Literary Press
Genres: Contemporary Romance

Emily Braden is a leader in architectural preservation, a pillar in her small hometown, and successful in everything she does—with the exception of finding true love. She’s watched several of her brothers fall in love, and she needs this trip to Tuscany to get away from it all and to stop focusing on what she doesn’t have.

Dae Bray doesn’t do flings, and he never stays in one place for very long. As a demolitionist, he goes where jobs take him, and the more often he travels, the better. His trip to Tuscany is all work—until he meets smart and sexy Emily, who makes him reconsider his fear of settling down, his no-fling rule—and just about everything else he’s ever believed about himself.

Passion sizzles as Dae and Emily explore the history and beauty of Tuscany. Their romance moves beyond tourist attractions to the bedroom, blossoming into a deep connection neither can deny. But their worlds collide when Emily wants to preserve the property that Dae is there to demolish. Can a woman who sees the beauty in preservation and a man whose life is spent tearing things down find a solid foundation for their love?

Despite their relationship being a whirlwind sort of get together, I was ok with this! I got caught up in the couples enthusiasm for one another and in true Melissa Foster style, the sex scenes bounced off the pages and had me running for a cold shower again! I think Dae is my favourite Melissa Foster man to date. Super hot, super sexy and uber romantic! My new book boyfriend! I loved his caring nature. He can sweep me off my feet any day! Highly recommended.

Stable Mates is one of those books that has you telling yourself that you will read one more chapter before switching the light out and going to sleep. And then, suddenly you find its 2am and you can't put the book down! Its sexy, its funny, its romantic and its a great old romp!

In Stable Mates, Zara Stoneley has created an interesting, complex and at times funny group of characters in the horsey world. More than once were they picking straw out of their hair! I found the men to be sexy in their own individual ways, even the ones I don't think I was supposed to find sexy! I was particularly enamoured by Mick and Rory! Phwoarrrrr!!! There was quite a bit of flirty goings on between characters which lead to a lot of unresolved sexual tension (and more often than not, resolved!) There were a host of supporting characters who each added their own unique charm to the story. The horse world it seems is not for the faint hearted or the shy and retiring types!

Throughout the book I could feel Lottie's exasperation at Rory and so wished for a good outcome for the couple. Rory was a bit of a rogue but a loveable one at that. Poor Lottie did have her work cut out though with so many gorgeous men on the scene all vying for her attention. Between Rory, Tom the model and Mick the sexy Irish farrier she had such a difficult time! I could live in a place like Tippermere!

Apart from all the furtive glances, quick gropes in the hay shed and horsey goings on, there is a really great story running throughout the book. There's mystery, romance and some unexpected twists. I loved this book. If you are a fan of Jilly Cooper then this book will definitely appeal to you. I think this is another one of those great books that would make an excellent movie! Move over Mr Grey, the Tippermere boys are in town! Highly recommended.

Tour: Chronicles of a Lincoln Park Fashionista

Posted on 17:41 by Unknown
Recent college graduate Avery Andrews is ready to begin a new life in the big city. She’s landed an apartment in Chicago’s famed Lincoln Park neighborhood–and has her eye on the cute commodity trader just a floor above.

If Premier Airlines knew about her fear of flying, they never would have hired her to be their marketing assistant—but it’s not like Avery wants a lifelong career. Right now she simply wants a job to pay her bills . . . and fund a few little shopping excursions, too.
Her new lifestyle comes with a price tag, as Avery is not only faced with paying a ridiculous rent but finds she’s perceived as one of the vacant, husband-hunting fashionistas who live in the area. Avery resents this stereotype. So she doesn’t want a lifelong career, and she loves fashions she can’t afford, but that doesn’t mean she is empty-headed and spoiled, does it?
When an opportunity to participate in a documentary at work arises, Avery finds a two-fold solution to her problems. She’ll earn extra money for it, and the documentary will show her as a serious career woman, enabling her to shed that husband-hunting fashionista label for good.

When the camera is on, Avery attempts to be a motivated professional woman. But when she is challenged by Deacon Ryan, the videographer assigned to cover her story, Avery finds herself wanting things she was never supposed to want—like a lasting career—and Deacon. And Avery might just gain more from the experience than a perfect career image and extra cash to put in her Tory Burch wallet . . .

'A hilarious observation of playground politics.'

'As funny as it is true...'

Ever had the pleasure of collecting your children from the school playground? Even if you haven't this is a hilarious must read. A month by month comical tale of a young mother fighting for her place in the world against the backdrop of the Playground Mafia. As her life unfolds and she takes us through from one amusing anecdote to another the characters come to life. There is Penelope who has a lot more going on in her life than she bargained for and Mrs Noland who has a lot less than she claims, not to mention Rupert who is a VERY busy man. With Mrs High School Musical, The International Sex God and The Frisky Pensioner, the characters are undeniably fascinating and leave you compelled to read more. Who knew that one false move in the playground, one step in the wrong direction or smile at the wrong person could lead to such complications?

The witty one liners and side splitting stories will keep you amused from beginning to end. Lively and entertaining, a hilarious comedy that every playground mother can relate to.

Posted on 23:00 by Unknown

Brook Cottage Books and Fiction Addiction book tours are thrilled to be coordinating the tour for Fated for Love by Melissa Foster. You can find all the tour links on the Fated for Love Tour page each day and enter the giveaway.

Series: Love in Bloom, The Bradens, Book 8
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Librarian Callie Barnes has visions of reading and relaxing—and maybe having a few too many drinks—on her girls’ weekend away. Her hopes are crushed when her friends pull into a dude ranch instead of a spa, and she refuses to say longer than one night. That is…until she realizes the ranch is owned by sinfully sexy, and dangerously rugged, Wes Braden—the subject of her late-night fantasies.
Fearless rancher Wes Braden thinks he’s the luckiest guy on the planet when the sweet, sexy librarian from his hometown shows up at his ranch. Their connection is white-hot, making it impossible for either to ignore their carnal desires. Wes is more than willing to convert sweet Callie from chick lit to a world of erotic romance, but Callie ties sex to love, and Wes avoids commitment like the plague.
Callie is thrust into physically demanding activities that ignite her deepest fears. Luckily, Wes is as tender as he is strong, and he’s there every step of the way to help her find her inner strength. With Callie’s influence, Wes might even discover that he’s been nursing a few fears of his own. Passion pulls Callie and Wes from their safe, comfortable lives into each other’s arms, and they’re about to find out just how alike they really are.

Attorney Landon Kingsley craves order and normalcy, and aside from his well-hidden vice of smoking, he lives the life that everyone expects from him in his hometown of Kingsport, Tennessee. Recently engaged to beautiful nursing student, April May, Landon’s new fiancĂ©e is everything he could want in a wife. She is devoted to her faith and family and truly loves him.

April’s cousin, Ella Casey, has returned to Kingsport after ten years of pursuing a career as a country music singer in Nashville. Ella’s failed career and affair with a married music producer scandalizes her in the eyes of the town, but her legal troubles drive her to Landon for help. Landon finds himself increasingly attracted to Ella and more discontent than ever with the path he has chosen for his life. Amid a firestorm of family and town gossip, Landon is tormented by his past and the complicated decision of whether to listen to God’s voice or follow his own desires.

SONG FROM THE ASHES, a modern retelling of the classic Edith Wharton novel The Age of Innocence, explores the dilemma between the pursuit of dreams and personal happiness versus contentment in God’s plan for marriage and love.
